Perfection

This Easter was absolutely perfect. I had such a wonderful day with my family and I was so happy that P was able to be part of us. He really is so wonderful. Love him a lot. 


Beautiful day in Southern Alberta - no real wind to speak of and gorgeous sun shining down and giving my cheeks a new batch of freckles!!

Feel the Burn!!

I have a new gym membership and I am SO excited!!

This may be my new favourite place in the city (aside from my house that is!) 


They have a great Women's Only section upstairs and its perfect. You don't feel like you're totally shut out of the gym but you have that little more sense of privacy that some 18 year old guy isn't staring at your backside as you're attempting to make said backside a teeny bit smaller. Its fantastic!! 


Anyone that is looking for a work out buddy let me know - I love having someone there to push me just a little bit further!!!

Hating boxes and burnt out

The move is basically complete. In the basement suite and I'm pretty happy - except for I keep thinking "I am sure THIS was in that box" and not finding what I am looking for. I truly do not like moving! You feel like a displaced refugee for days and days and everything is new and you can't organise or put anything away cause technically you haven't given it a place to be AWAY yet. Who thought this was going to be a fun adventure? P has been helpful - in the sense he reminds me I'm not actually losing my mind I am just disorganised and eventually all the boxes will be empty and in the recycling bin at the mall. Let's hope. I can't take much more mess and chaos.


I am also extremely burnt out. I am not sure if its from the stress of moving or the fact that the move represents some changes in my life, but I honestly just feel like having a good old fashion hard cry. I know that it doesn't resolve anything but sometimes it seems to almost make you feel somewhat better. Or maybe it just exhausts you to the point that you sleep really good and get over whatever "issues" you had. Work is so busy lately and I have so many clients that I think honestly believe I have nothing to do but sit and wait for them to call me with some problem. *sigh* 

New Additions

No we are not expecting


We bought fish!! I usually have some sort of gold fish or beta or something in a bowl - lately I have been kind of restricted in my living areas, that I had to cut down on the pet stuff. BUT!! With my new living arrangements that is no longer an issue!!

So we are pretty excited - actually been sitting here for about an hour watching them swim around. P is kinda annoyed that they haven't decided to swim inside the houses yet - Yes, those are from Spongebob. Apparently we are a very cartoon friendly house! 

I love watching fish swim around - it really seems to relax me for some reason. And the sound of the water is always a calming influence as well.

Internet is back!!

Hello!! 
  So we had no internet for a few days - finally had a technician come out today and inform us that someone actually hit the cable box in the alley behind the house. But as you can see all fixed now!! 


So not much really happened the past few days. Winter has come back with a vengeance for some reason. Whoever ticked off mother nature needs to apologise pronto!! It was absolutely gorgeous out for a few days. Nice enough that P and I and a friend of his wandered around downtown shops in just light jackets. I bought a new hat!

But that night the snow started again!!! We got SO much!! Its insane!! And its that really wet snow that is SO heavy that you think you're going to dislocate your shoulders when you have to shovel it!

P and B got called out on a snow removal crew today to go shoveling - poor boys - glad it wasn't me tho. The sun is out and shining right now and EVERYTHING is melting so maybe we'll be able to put our shovels away for good eventually. Here's hoping!!

We were supposed to go down to my parents on the ranch today but things got all jumbled up with P working and me getting stuck here for HOURS waiting for the internet repair guy. Tomorrow we will be going down to see my sister in the play "The King and I" so I am hoping they will forgive our absence today!!
